New Technology Improves the Appearance of Cellulite in a Single Treatment

Currently Exclusive to Lisa Zdinak, MD in New York

NEW YORK, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Lisa Zdinak, medical skin care
specialist and oculoplastic surgeon, is the first New York-area physician
to offer the latest FDA-approved Thermage technology -- a new one-pass
procedure that, for the first time, targets and improves cellulite in a
single treatment.

Leading the way in facial and body rejuvenation, Lisa A. Zdinak, M.D.,
a medical skin care specialist and oculoplastic surgeon, was the first New
York doctor selected by Thermage to use the new ThermaTip CL. This
breakthrough advance in radiofrequency technology visibly reduces the
appearance of cellulite in only a single office visit.

A new deeper heating cellulite tip, the ThermaTip CL rebuilds collagen
connective tissues and further improves blood flow, helping to enhance the
smooth appearance of the skin's surface. Combined with the latest Thermage
machine, the ThermaCool(R)NXT, this cosmetic procedure is the most advanced
medical treatment for cellulite on the market today.

"Nearly 90 percent of women experience some degree of cellulite,"
explains Dr. Zdinak. "This special new treatment could not be more timely
given that warmer weather and bathing suit season is around the corner."

ThermaTip CL is the latest innovation from Thermage, the industry
leader in skin tightening and contouring radiofrequency technology. Backed
by years of clinical research, Thermage is a safe, non-invasive cosmetic
procedure with no downtime that is proven to tighten, contour, and
rejuvenate the skin in a single treatment. Immediate results are visible
and continue to improve for up to six months.

"Until now, cellulite treatments have not been totally satisfying,"
says Dr. Zdinak. "The beauty industry abounds with creams that don't
penetrate the skin deeply enough. Other in-office treatments, such as
endermologie or lymphatic drainage massage focus on only a single aspect of
cellulite formation. They require multiple visits and achieve only a minor
improvement in the appearance of cellulite."

Dr. Zdinak has created a unique spectrum of anti-aging, non-invasive
treatment combinations using advanced technologies to achieve a more
youthful appearance. She customizes a special protocol for each individual,
and the addition of this new technology actually targets a condition that
was formerly treatment resistant.

The engineering behind the new Thermage CL tip addresses the key
components that cause the dimpled, irregular appearance of the skin -- it
rebuilds collagen and improves the blood flow to deeper tissues. Dr. Zdinak
explains, "The results have been fantastic and my patients are grateful
that they can improve their appearance without any surgery, painful
injections or downtime, all in a single session "

According to The Millennium Research Group, the demand for non-invasive
laser and energy device cellulite treatments in the US is expected to
nearly double to over 770,000 procedures by 2011. The new cellulite
procedure by Thermage uses the FDA cleared ThermaCool(R) system for the
temporary improvement in the appearance of cellulite. "The ThermaTip CL
provides a unique option to physicians who want to treat cellulite, but
have yet to find something that produces significant results in a single
treatment." said Stephen J. Fanning, Chairman of the Board, President and
Chief Executive Officer at Thermage.

Dr. Zdinak offers the latest medical beauty treatments, including
Thermage, pixellated skin resurfacing, and carboxytherapy for the reduction
of wrinkles, dark under eye circles, and cellulite. She incorporates a
prescribed combination of these leading treatments in conjunction with
injectables such as Restylane, Perlane, Botox, Juvederm, Juvederm Ultra
Plus, Sculptra, and Radiesse.

Dr. Zdinak maintains a private practice at 135 East 74th Street in
Manhattan, with her colleague Dr. Thomas Romo, Chief of Facial Plastic
Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital.
In the United States, she is a forerunner in using carboxytherapy, having
designed the original protocols for its use in treating dark under eye
circles as well as for facial sculpting. Recognized as a go-to expert in
the field of medical skin care, Dr. Zdinak frequently lectures to medical
professionals on the latest technologies and techniques.
